Lüneburg: Theatre
Lüneburg Theatre was founded in the post-war years and, as a three-fold stage, offers a comprehensive repertoire. It ranges from drama, opera, operetta, and musicals to ballets. There are also chamber concerts, symphony concerts by the Lüneburg Symphony Orchestra, children's concerts and children's operas. The theatre was completely renovated in 1995/96 and has 542 seats. The Junge Bühne (Young Stage) has shows for children and young people. The season runs from September to the end of June.
